SURFING & BODY BOARDING
What is the difference between surfing and body/boogie boarding?
Surfing uses long boards (up to 9ft) and you catch a wave sufficient enough for you to have time to stand and ride the wave in. It is a fun activity, where you do not go beyond chest depth and our instructors are there to help you catch the right wave and give you the best opportunity to ride a board!
Smaller children may prefer boogie boarding which is a much smaller board used in the safe swimming area.
To build confidence in the water, boogie boarding is an excellent activity learning about waves, surf safety, handling yourself in the shallows and catching small waves to shore.
